Jay Venute asked me to design a site for his Doodlepark series of work. His paintings were so visually stimulating, coming up with the site was a breeze. I worked from his paintings backwards and together we came up with several locations that would make up the world of DoodlePark. We used that map as a means of splitting the paintings up into edible chunks, and created a little online world. Jay also wanted to sell prints of his paintings online, so I set up a simple Paypal cart system, that allowed his visitors to easily order prints right from the page of the painting they were looking at.
