Let's see now... what to say about oneself...

Well, I'm 30 and I've been studying art pretty much all of my life. I have my BFA in Illustration, and have worked as a web designer for over 7 years. A couple of years ago I refound my passion for illustration after starting a comic with a friend of mine (www.evilolive.net.) That lead to Modern Pixel, and my new illustration portfolio.

I enjoy all art, low and high brow. You're as likely to catch me watching an awful direct-to-video horror flick as you are to see me choking back tears at an emotionally wrenching Spanish film in the Sunshine theater on Houston Street. I read a lot, mostly literature - classic and contemporary. I take photos to pass the time and keep my creative juices flowing.

My goal as a web designer is to make the internet easy to use. My goal as an illustrator is to bring a little humor and joy to the world.
